CutWise — Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 10, 2026 · App: CutWise (dev.terdiam.cutwise)
Data we collect ourselves
None. CutWise has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no analytics of its own. Your cutting data never reaches our servers — we don't have any servers. The optimizer works fully offline.
Advertising (free version)
The free version shows a small banner ad served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may process device data such as the advertising ID, IP address, and coarse location, as described in How Google uses information and Google's Privacy Policy. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a consent dialog is shown before any ad loads, and you can change your choice at any time. Upgrading to CutWise Pro removes all ads — and with them, all ad-related data processing. When you are offline, no ads load and nothing is processed.
Data stored on your device
Your cutting projects (piece lists, stock sizes, settings) are saved only in the app's private storage on your own device. They never leave your device unless you explicitly share them. Uninstalling the app deletes this data.
PDF export
When you export a cutting plan as PDF, the file is generated on your device. Where you send it (messaging apps, printers, cloud drives) is entirely your choice, handled by the app you pick in the Android share dialog.
Purchases
The optional CutWise Pro upgrade is processed by Google Play Billing. Payment details are handled entirely by Google and never reach us. We only receive an anonymous confirmation that the purchase was made, which is stored on your device to unlock Pro features. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google processes payments.
Children
CutWise collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of CutWise ever changes how data is handled (for example, adding optional cloud sync), this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be clearly announced in the app listing.
